Dental Billing Representative

Job Description: ConnextCare, formerly Northern Oswego County Health Services Inc., is seeking a Billing Representative/Payment Poster to add to its Billing department. This position is based in the Pulaski office.

As a Billing Representative/Payment Poster posting Explanations of Benefits and contacting insurance companies to follow up on delinquent claims are core tasks. Following up on denied claims by sending claim status requests to appropriate insurance companies and processing claims for service via websites of insurance companies are major responsibilities of the position as well. Ensuring patient and insurance information is accurately entered into the practice management system, verifying all family member accounts, addresses and insurance information is vital. Explaining insurance coverage, fee schedules, sliding fee, and credit & collection information to patients and answering all dental billing questions are primary functions of this position as well. Works with the Billing Supervisor, Business Office Manager, and collection agency on delinquent accounts. Assist management in compiling necessary information for audits, both internal and those required by outside entities. Prior medical billing experience is preferred.


Job Requirements: High School Graduate/ Equivalency, with medical/office billing experience preferred
Must be courteous and tactful
Must possess the ability to firmly purse payment on accounts

Tier III Information Services Support

ConnextCare, formerly Northern Oswego County Health Services Inc., is seeking an experienced Tier III Information Services Support to add to its Information Services department. This position is based in the Pulaski office, but travel throughout the network is required.
The Tier III Information Services Support position is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the help desk, identifies, researches, and resolves complex technical problems. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. This position will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion; and provide end user training and assistance where required.

Job Requirements: Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field or equivalent training, education and experience in a Help Desk or support role, Healthcare preferred. Comp TIA A+, Network +, Microsoft Certifications desirable. Extensive knowledge of personal computers, printers, desktop applications, terminal services, Active Directory, and Microsoft’s Hyper-V Virtualization and Fail over clustering. Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle and work remotely are required. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Must possess a keen attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a strong commitment to customer-service.

Network/VoIP/Systems Administrator

ConnextCare, formerly Northern Oswego County Health Services Inc., is seeking an experienced Network/VoIP/Systems Administrator to add to its Information Services department. This position is based in the Pulaski office, but travel throughout the network is required.

The Network/VoIP/Systems Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and resolving any alerts involving network hardware, firewall, and all WAN, LAN and VoIP networking components. Maintaining network performance with focus on infrastructure and remote office support (onsite and remote) is a primary focus of this position. Installation and support of Cisco Meraki, and HP Networking equipment, Cisco Meraki Routers/Firewalls, and Layer 2/3 Switches. Administration of common network services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP is an essential function of the position. Ideal candidate will have excellent IP Network, VoIP and QoS troubleshooting capabilities, able to maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security


Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University; or equivalent training, education and experience in Networking or Systems administration. Cisco CCNA, COMP TIA Network +, Microsoft Certifications desirable.
Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years of networking experience and two years in a network infrastructure role. Previous experience and working knowledge of Performance Tuning, LAN/WAN, Network Design and implementation.
MPLS networks, Cisco Meraki, HP equipment, VPNs, Meraki firewalls, switches, routers, Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory environment are required. Experience with virtualization technologies specifically Hyper-V and exposure to Terminal Services are a plus. Ability to communicate problems with supervisors as they become aware. Additional or different functions may be assigned from time to time. Comply with the organizations code of conduct, safety rules and adheres to all company policies.  As a Care Manager you will need to have Knowledge in all aspects of the electronic medical record, including training and monitoring for compliance and timely follow-up. You will be responsible for the daily nurse visit schedule that includes billing and charting in a timely manner. Assist with flu shot and other immunization clinics in the capacity of an RN, duties include Triage, facilitating patient questions and answers and case management: Per Medical Home, HEDIS and Meaningful Use requirements.  Respond to actual or potential health problems through case finding and provision of care supportive to restorative life and well-being. To execute medical regimens as prescribed by a licensed provider, including but not limited to, tests, treatments and medications. To participate in quality improvement, in-service workshops, continuing education and peer review as is requested by management and supervision. To engage in Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives, including participating as part of the Clinical Care Team. Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision.

Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program, with a current New York State license as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrate a willingness to accept direction from providers and VP/ Chief Nursing Officer.  Must possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations, maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with both patients and co-workers and be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position.

The Clerical Supervisor oversees the clerical staff schedule to ensure adequate department coverage.
