Billing Representative Charge Processor

Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

As a Billing Representative – Charge Processor with NOCHSI you accurately collect and input billing data into the computer system verifying insurance eligibilities and billing charges making sure all charges match the coding guidelines. This position will communicate questions to providers regarding documentation and billing charges, working with Open Encounter report daily using ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT coding, ensuring accuracy and reconciling receipts and charges daily. Journals are closed at the end of shift each day. Must comply with organizations code of conduct, safety rules and adheres to all company policies.


Job Requirements: High School Graduate/ Equivalency, with billing experience preferred. Must be courteous and tactful. Must possess the ability to firmly purse payment on accounts. Must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspect of the position.

Dental Billing Representative

As a Dental Billing Representative with NOCHSI you will be required to answer incoming calls courteously, take messages and route to the appropriate extension when necessary, schedule appointments for dentists and hygienists. Ensure walk-ins and emergencies are expedited in an efficient manner according to dental procedures. Compile and input patient information into the computer system, and receive encounters after patient visit. Must request and receive payments at time of service and on account, entering into computer. Balance receipts daily to computer printouts verifying data. Confirm next day patient appointments, assist management in compiling necessary information for audits both internal and external.

Job Requirements: High School Graduate/ Equivalency, with medical/office billing experience preferred

As a Patient Access Representative with NOCHSI you must foster patient service skills acting as a patient advocate, making certain all of their needs are met This position will greet patients, visitors and representatives to the center, directing them to appropriate offices. Additional tasks are; registering all patients entering the office, verifying demographic and insurance coverage (Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care) and initiating encounters for patients seen. This position also answers all incoming calls scheduling appointments as appropriate and scanning documents into EHR as received. Medical Records Representative

As a Medical Records Rep. you will assist patients with incoming calls to the health center and document patient requests in the EHR/Practice Management system as needed. Copy/scan/mail completed medical record requests and record in EHR when processed. Ability to access patient information on the RHIO, to obtain required documents. Print schedules in preparation for upcoming visits and scan past medical records into EHR for provider review and reference.

Call to request consultative, ER/Urgent Care reports for patients seen outside of office. Scan all patient documents as instructed with accuracy and compliance with internal processes. Collect and scan loose documents from clinical areas into the appropriate patient chart. Must be flexible to organizational needs across NOCHSI network.



Job Requirements: High school graduate or GED. Verbal and written communication skills, office applications preferred. Demonstrate proper judgment and decision making skills when necessary. Carry out job responsibilities in an ethical, effective and professional manner. Must demonstrate computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record system. As a Dental Assistant, you will act as chair side assistant to the dentist, preparing necessary materials and equipment for various dental procedures. Cleaning, sterilizing and setting up instruments, preparing exam rooms and setup between patients, taking x-rays, and performing routine maintenance on dental equipment. Licensed Practical Nurse Team Leader- Clinical Support

As a LPN Team Leader you will facilitate daily AM team huddles to discuss daily plan of action, ensure efficient patient flow is present throughout the day, monitor clinical tasks in the EHR to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up and completion and have knowledge in all aspects of the electronic medical record. You will ensure all daily floor duties are completed, respond to all S.T.A.T. calls, schedule and monitor all breaks including lunches to ensure each staff member is in compliance with DOL regulations, coordinate with Nurse Manager for completion of monthly clinical staffing schedules distributed by 15th of each month. Completion of medical supply inventory including state and private immunizations and assist in ordering to ensure adequate supply level. Attend training sessions for NYSIIS and relay updates to clinical staff members, monitoring NYSIIS data input. Engage in Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives, including participating as part of the Clinical Care Team. Any other clinical duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision.
